SCARF
With A, ch 152.

Row 1 (right side): Working in back bars, V-st in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 1, skip next 2 chs,

V-st in next ch; repeat from * across—50

V-sts. Fasten off.

Row 2: With right side facing, join B with sc in ch-2 space of first V-st, (ch 2, sc) in same ch-2 space, *ch 1, V-st in next ch-2 space; repeat from * across. Fasten off.

Rows 3–6: Repeat Row 2 working 1 row each with C, D, E, and F.

Row 7 (right side): With right side of Row 1 facing and working across opposite side of foundation ch, join A with sc to first ch, (ch 2, sc) in same ch, *skip next 2 ch, V-st in next ch; repeat from * across.

Rows 8–12: Repeat Rows 2–6.
Fringe
Cut two 16” (40.5 cm) lengths of each color to match tails at ends of rows. Thread yarn through sc at end of each row and tie in an overhand knot. Cut and thread an additional length of A through end of row with no beginning tail. Comb out and cut fringe to desired length, then tie a tight knot at end of each fringe to prevent fraying. If desired, do not tie a knot at end of fringe; instead, apply fabric sealant to each end.

ABBREVIATIONS
